Asmara M. Tekle, J.D., MBA, is the Chief Operating Officer of VAM Med Spa in Cliffside Park, NJ. With a dynamic background spanning business, law, academia, and government, Asmara brings deep strategic leadership to VAM’s mission of holistic, client-centered care. She previously served as Chief Administrative Officer for one of the nation’s largest cities and as Associate Dean and tenured professor at Thurgood Marshall School of Law.
A graduate of Harvard College (cum laude), Cornell Law School, and Texas A&M Mays School of Business, Asmara also studied at the Sorbonne in Paris. Her passion for wellness began after college during time spent in France and Japan, inspiring a lifelong commitment to holistic self-care grounded in both Eastern and Western traditions. Asmara enjoys practicing and teaching power yoga, meditation, spending time in nature, and reading thought-provoking non-fiction. Her leadership at VAM integrates intellectual depth, cultural awareness, and a passion for wellness innovation.
