Stewart Kaufman. M.A, L.A.c. is an experienced acupuncturist and Chinese Herbalist with 25 years in the field. Acupuncture is a medical system that diagnoses, treats, and prevents illness by managing the body’s Qi, or energy, eliminating the need for pharmaceuticals and their side effects. At VAM, Stew’s practice runs the gamut, including facial rejuvenation using Japanese acupuncture techniques, pediatric acupuncture for acne, and female fertility and sexual wellness. He is well-versed in many different acupuncture techniques including Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Japanese and Trigger Point Therapy, Tui NA (Chinese Massage), Sotai (Japanese physical therapy), Moxibustion, Cupping, Guasha, Chinese Herbs and Formulas, Dry Needling Therapy, Korean Hand Acupuncture, Balance Method, and Battlefield/Auricular Acupuncture. Stew is a graduate of the University of Buffalo with a master’s degree from NYU in health education. Outside of work, Stew enjoys giving back to the community and spending time with his fur babies and on the golf course.
